Ice Cream Demo


 Good News to Ice Cream Lovers! The Institute of International Culinary & Hospitality Entrepreneurship (ICHEF), the newest school with the latest and world-class culinary facility in Davao, launched its Italian Ice Cream Maker equipment last January 15, 2010 at its 6-storey campus located at De Jesus St., Davao City. The school invited Germany’s top pastry chef- Chef Juergen Bertelsen (top photo) to share his expertise in creating sweet softies. ICHEF’s Chair, Joji Ilagan Bian (middle) plans to introduce an affordable ice cream franchise business scheme soon. Bian who is running for a congressional seat in the 2nd District of Davao under the Team Nograles is a recognized business leader who holds a track record in promoting economic investments in Mindanao. With her on this photo are Chef Mike Oberle, ICHEF’s Culinary Training Director and Chef Justin David, the Director of Studies-Philippines of Technical and Further Education - South Western Sydney Institute, New South Wales. (TAFE-SWSI NSW). ICHEF is the Mindanao Campus of TAFE-SWSI NSW, where students receive a certificate after finishing a program that qualifies them to work and migrate in Australia.
