The Joji Ilagan (JIB) Schools uphold its mission to hone its students holistically. The students are exposed not only to theories, practical assessments and simulations, but they are also exposed to events which will help them enhance their self confidence, as well as give them an arena to stage their hidden majestic beauty within. No wonder why these schools are the only schools Mindanao wide to offer Personality Development and Public Relations (PDPR) subjects at its fullest. This year, another one of a kind competition was brought to mind-the Mr. and Ms. JIB International 2015.  The Mr. and Ms. JIB International 2015 is a competition which will showcase the holistic beauty of the JIB Schools’ students, and the winners will represent the whole JIB Schools. 

 

The Mr. and Ms. JIB International 2015 was organized to showcase the beauty and wisdom of the students. It also aims to develop camaraderie among students, teachers, and staff learning and working in the Joji Ilagan Schools. It happened last March 19, 2015, 4 pm, at the Abreeza Mall Activity Center.

 

Participating schools are the following: Joji Ilagan Career Center Foundation College of Business and Tourism(JIB-CBT), Joji Ilagan International School of Hotel and Tourism Management (Gensan JIB-IS), Career Institute of Southeast Asia (CAISA) Sunday School, and the Institute of International Culinary and Hospitality Entrepreneurship(ICHEF). 

 

The Joji Ilagan Career Centre Foundation Inc. College of Business and Tourism is the first HRM and Tourism school in Mindanao where all graduates get multiple certifications and International Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism from the American Hospitality Academy, USA. The Institute of International Culinary and Hospitality Entrepreneurship (ICHEF), owned and managed by the Joji Ilagan Career Center Foundation, Inc. is one of the biggest and most modern hospitality and culinary school in the Philippines located at the Tourist and Food capital of Mindanao-Davao City. ICHEF is also the first in Mindanao to be accredited by the Commission of Higher Education (CHED) to offer a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Management. The Joji Ilagan International School of Hotel and Tourism Management General Santos City is the biggest and most modern hospitality and culinary school in General Santos City. The Career Institute of Southeast Asia (CAISA) is an institution owned and managed by the number one Hospitality & Tourism School in Mindanao, the Joji Ilagan Career Center Foundation Inc. Their classes are on Sundays and this special program is designed for the working students whose available days for school are only Sundays. 

 

Throughout the competition, your eardrums might seem to burst by the yells of the students for their candidate while the contestants walked with grace, charm and confidence as they showcased their International Attire, Creative Jeans, Uniform and Formal/Evening Wear. However, every shout vanished as the emcees were about to declare the first ever Mr. and Ms. JIB International 2015. After which, the roaring applause resumed when the names are blended.  These are the winners: Mr. JIB International 2015-(JIB-CBT) JOMER BALANDRA, Ms. JIB International 2015-(JIB-CBT) MERRY HOPE MALASADO; Mr. Supranational (Mr. Jib International 1st Runner Up) (JIB-CBT) CARL CASTILLO, Ms. Supranational (Ms. Jib International 1st Runner Up) (ICHEF) ARABELLE COLEEN RUIZ, Mr. Tourism (Mr. Jib International 2nd Runner Up) (ICHEF) JIM REY CABARDO and Ms. Tourism (Ms. Jib International 2nd Runner Up) (ICHEF) MA. SAMANTHA MERU.

 

Without a doubt, the Joji Ilagan Schools made another history as it hails its Mr. and Ms. JIB International 2015 successfully. Ms. Joji Ilagan Bian, Chairperson of the JIB Group of companies is very delighted for such an event and is hoping for a brighter Mr. and Ms. JIB International 2016.
