Breakfast Buffet in February

 ICHEF believes that learning must not end in grades or on nice diplomas freshly printed on special papers. Being a true chef does not end on having a chef’s jacket with your name embroidered as chef so-and-so. Being a true chef entails practicing the skills required for you to give satisfaction and happiness to the people through the food and quality service you offer. That is why, ICHEF patterned its curriculum in such a way that students will be able to put into actions what they have learned before they face the real world.
One of these activities includes the breakfast buffet services by the Passionfruit class (Grand Diploma 2nd year students) last February 11, 2015, at the ICHEF Chef’s Restaurant. This special service is part of the subject Buffet and Catering class under Mr. Leve Cuestas (ICHEF Instructor). This buffet service is anchored on these objectives: for students to be able to implement buffet service in a real scenario, and for the students to be able to practice teamwork as an efficient and effective requirement for catering services. The students invited their parents and loved ones.
The students prepared a wonderful breakfast buffet set up, a product of their elegant creativity. They have also prepared a one of a kind set of breakfast dishes to please the early-morning palate of everyone. The egg station and pancake station are a few of the bestsellers with its array of dishes like Poached Egg, Sunny Side Up, Omelet, and ICHEFian Pancake. Different types of bread are also served like Flax seed Bread, White Toasted Bread with Butter Rosettes. The Main dishes are the following: Herb Crusted Chicken Nuggets and Baked Pork and Beans. For desserts, Fruit Jell-O is served. To refresh everyone, students also prepared an Orange Juice with Tropical Fresh Fruit Slicer-plus Coffee and Creamer. 
Ichef indeed is jam packed with activities that will hone the students even more.
