Cupcake Wars

 

The Institute of International Culinary and Hospitality Entrepreneurship (ICHEF) was filled with exquisitely decorated cupcakes last September 19, 2013 for the Semi final round of the sweetest war ever; the ICHEF Cupcake Wars. The competitive 2^nd year KIWI students of ICHEF were the participants for that event. They extracted their creativity and undeniably admirable pastry skills during the competition.

            The following works emerged as the top 4 finalists for the Cupcake Wars Final Round this October 4, 2013. 1^st place-Halloween Themed Cupcakes made with Red Velvet with Raspberry filling and Chocolate Muffins with ganache and marshmallow frosting; 2^nd place-The Animal Kingdom made with Green Tea Cupcakes, Butter Rum cupcakes and Crème de Menthe Cupcakes; 3^rd place-The Bountiful Harvest made with Durian and Marshmallow frosting, Jackfruit and Buttercream cupcakes, and Coconut with Macapuno filling and Marshmallow frosting; 4^th place-Christmas Cupcakes made with Durian and Blueberry Cupcakes.
